Similar to a Callus, but smaller and sometimes more painful, a Corn is caused by pressure or rubbing of the skin on your feet. This can be caused by incorrect shoes; not wearing socks with shoes or lifting heavy weights.

If you have a Corn or a Callus, do not:

– try to cut them off yourself

– walk long distances or stand for long periods

– wear high heels or tight pointy shoes

– go barefoot

If you’ve tried self-treatment and it’s not improved after 2-3 weeks or it bleeds or has any discharge, it is then recommended to seek professional help.
